Solar Panel Prices

Solar panels prices continued to fall for the second consecutive week due to low prices of polycrystalline silicon wafers. In markets outside China, polycrystalline silicon wafers (270-275 watts) ranged from 0.195 $0.206 watts, with the average price remaining unchanged at $0.204 watts. High-efficiency polycrystalline silicon wafers (280-285 watts) ranged from 0.204 $0.226 watts.

As for the prices of monocrystalline silicon panels, the traditional mono, did not change as it maintained its price levels at 0.208 $0.226 / Watt for panels (290-295 Watt) with a slight decline in the average price to $0.220 / Watt and the prices of panels with capacity (300-310 Watt) remained at 0.294 $0.321 Watt and the panels maintained high efficiency (>310 Watt).

In the Chinese domestic market, the prices of traditional polycrystalline silicon panels with (270 – 275 watts) range between 1.74 1.66 yuan/W with the average price falling to 1.64 yuan/W compared to the prices of high-efficiency panels (280-285 watts) between 1.64 1.71 yuan/W and with an average of 1.68 yuan / s.

As for the prices of monocrystalline silicon panels, the traditional mono, in the Chinese domestic market did not change, as it maintained its price levels at 1.64-1.71 yuan/Watt for panels (290-295 watts). The prices of panels with capacity (300-310 watts) remained at 1.73 1.81 yuan/Watt, and high-efficiency panels (>310 watts) maintained their prices for the second week respectively at 1.79 yuan.

polycrystalline silicon Ore Prices

Pure silicon crude prices continued to fall this week due to the high pressure from manufacturers of polycrystalline silicon chips as the prices of polycrystalline silicon chips continued to fall as well as the prices of polycrystalline cells and panels (poly) followed the same prices of polycrystalline silicon chips, while the prices of monocrystalline cells (mono) maintain their price can avoid the constant demand from the global markets with a high probability of rising again. The bottom line for manufacturers of polycrystalline silicon chips

On the Chinese level, most manufacturers of pure polysilicon ore could not sell their products at levels lower than their production cost which led them to reduce or suspend production. As for single-grade polysilicon manufacturers, they were still under pressure to lower their prices, although the pressure was not obvious. As a result, manufacturers were forced to adjust their prices. Not only in the Chinese domestic market but also overseas markets showed a drop in prices due to price pressure in the Chinese domestic market.

In the Chinese domestic market, the price range for pure monocrystalline polysilicon ore ranges from 68 to 76 yuan/kg with an unchanged average of 72 yuan/kg compared to the polysilicon ore price for polycrystalline silicon wafers at 52 56 yuan/kg with an average of 54 yuan/kg. In markets outside China, the price range is between 8.56 and 9.19 USD/kg with an average of $8.8 USD/kg.

Silicon Chip Prices

In markets outside of China, the price of polycrystalline silicon wafers fluctuated between $0.200 and $0.206 for silicon wafers while the price of black polycrystalline silicon wafers remained unchanged at $0.255 for monocrystalline silicon wafers. The price range for 156.75 mm wafers remained unchanged at $0.394 $0.461 for silicon wafers. The price range for monocrystalline silicon wafers remained unchanged at $0.

In the Chinese domestic market, the price range of polycrystalline silicon wafers (156.75 mm) is between 1.671.73 mm for thin. The price range of polycrystalline silicon wafers is down to 2.02 yuan for thin, while the price range of monoclastic wafers remains unchanged at 2.642.67 mm for thin. The price range of monoclastic silicon wafers is below 156.75 mm.

Solar Cell Prices

As for the prices of solar cells vary according to type and market place whether inside or outside China, for example, in markets outside China, the prices of polycrystalline solar cells range between 0.080 and 0.119 USD/watt and the average capacity of 0.093 USD/watt and the prices of monocrystalline solar cells remained unchanged at 0.102 – 0.107 USD/watt.

High-efficiency cell prices also remained unchanged at 0.111 0.134 USD/watt while high-efficiency cells > 21.7% were sold at prices ranging from 0.114 0.169 USD/watt.

In the Chinese domestic market, the prices of ordinary efficient multicrystalline solar cells range from 0.62 to 0.69 yuan to 0.7 yuan. For ordinary monocrystalline cells, their prices have remained constant between 0.79 and 0.86 yuan. For highly efficient mono cells, their prices have remained unchanged at 0.86 to 0.94 yuan and for ultra-efficient mono cells (>21.7%).
